This red brick home, built in 1830, served as a Federal Command Post during the Battle of Franklin in 1864 and displays approximately 1,000 bullet holes from the confrontation. Today, the structure serves as a battle interpretive center and displays items such as flags, guns, maps, uniforms, and Civil War prints. It is located just east of Strahl Street Park.
